CAD / 2D & 3D Design Incl. Concept Development & Detailing
  • We are able to work from both physical and digital models as well as drawings, although often just an idea or sketch is enough.
  • Our services include digitisation and reverse engineering.
  • We can work with most common 2D & 3D digital file formats. If you don't have a digital file we are able to create one for you.

Picture
2D & 3D Visualisation / Rendering
  • We can produce professional quality imagery tailored to fit your design concept.
  • In past projects we have created visualisations for both architectural and product design use.
  • Both draft and production quality images can be produced depending on the stage of your project and your budget.

3D Scanning & Other Forms of Digitisation
  • We use professional, high precision structured light Artec scanners that capture data with an accuracy of up to 0.05 mm and cutting edge software to process the scan data, often with the use of AI neural networks.

  • Scans are processed for your particular application. This can include digital sculpting, preparation for various 3D printing processes, product development and/or use in 2D/3D visualisation or unique pieces of artwork.
  • Our highly experienced team can scan both complex, fine and detailed objects as well as larger pieces. We offer a range of post-processing options including reverse engineering and conversion into suitable file formats for further use including 3D printing and/or casting.
  • We have undertaken high resolution 3D bust and body scans for various uses.
  • Additional applications of our 3D scanning service include making digital records for the conservation, heritage and art sectors.
  • Also offered is a duplication service.
Selected applications of our 3D scanning service include:

Arts
The capture of Artwork including Sculpture with particular expertise in the use of scan data for the creation of Experimental Works of Art and Design. Often our scan data is used in the production of 3D printed masters, tooling and moulds (see our in-house 3D printing and finishing services below).

Product and Architectural Design
3D capture of physical sketch/development models and prototypes for translation into high quality digital models suitable for further development.

Conservation & Heritage
Including the capture of Architectural Details and Historical Artefacts often used as Digital Records and for Research.

Engineering
Including Reverse Engineering & Metrology.

SEE EXAMPLE PATHWAYS BELOW:

Pathway to 3D PRINTING

If you don’t have a CAD file, but do have
a physical object / part that you would like to
reproduce in another material, scale or for
further development then you will need to digitise
the part in order to 3D print it.

If you have drawings either in a digital format or
on paper we can develop them into a CAD
file for you at an additional cost.
